Adel Zakout and Tom Mallory founded Clippings with a simple mission: make the world a more beautiful place through interior design. With a vision to partner with leading furniture and lighting brands to create a luxury one-stop marketplace for architects, developers and offices, Adel and Tom appointed me as their Consultant Creative Brand Director to shape the brand’s identity and creative strategy as well as it’s tone of voice.
Understanding the need to build an online community of leading brands and designers, I wanted to portray the ‘community essence’ in the new direction – bringing more inclusivity to the brand in an industry that can sometimes feel somewhat exclusive. This ethos covered everything from the redevelopment of the website through to photography direction, social media and video-based marketing campaigns.
